Have you experienced God's provision even in a season of disobedience?
Where have you experienced God's presence in the midst of a trial?
Does praising while feeling overcome by trials feel difficult? How can you turn those times into praise?
Read Psalm 34 and 56 together and discuss David's practice of praising God.
David's Great-Grandmother was Ruth from Moab, how does this demonstrate God's providence from before David was even born?
Its easy to focus on the present moment, how does this story help us trust God's plan for more than just our momentary trials and to have a focus that reaches to generations?
Application
