Advent is the season leading up to Christmas, during which many Christians take time to reflect on the coming of Jesus - His first coming in the Incarnation and His promised return.
Advent begins on the four Sundays before Christmas. Each week highlights a theme and one additional candle is lit each Sunday.
As we enter this Advent season, we prepare our hearts with hope for Christ to come again.
