PASTOR ZACH VESTNYS

In February of 2001 Pastor Zach came on staff full time as the Youth Pastor at Calvary Chapel Petaluma. He faithfully served in that position until January of 2004, when he was asked to be the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Petaluma. The Lord opened that door, and has been graciously blessing Zach’s service in the ministry.

Zach was raised in a Christian home and prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior on Easter Sunday when he was 5 years old. He was baptized at the age of six, at Applegate Christian Fellowship, in Oregon. The Lord again worked in Zach’s life during the summer before his freshman year of high school, wherein he rededicated his life to serving the Lord, and focused his time to become more involved with the ministry at Applegate Christian Fellowship. From that point on he was sure of the Lord’s calling on his life to be serving in the ministry.

”The evidence for God’s calling on my life is a pastor’s (servant’s) heart full of love for His people and for His work. Secondly, there must be fruit coming from this ministry. The church is growing, people are being saved, and they are learning, growing, and feeding upon the teaching (chapter by chapter and verse by verse) of God’s word. I am blessed to continue in the Lords work at Calvary Chapel Petaluma. I praise God for allowing me to serve Him and His church.”
