Welcome to Calvary Chapel Women’s Ministry’s Fall season of studies. We are excited to begin and look forward to the times of growth and fellowship ahead.
In this new season we will be moving in a new direction in our studies. Instead of finishing up our Spring studies, we are blessed to begin a new study together through a book called “The New Eve” by Robert Lewis with Jeremy Howard. This author has another study which the Men of Calvary Chapel will be going through at the same time.
Inside you will find more information about “The New Eve” and the author, Robert Lewis, along with the different times and places to meet at. We invite you to join us as we seek to grow in our walks with God through the study of His Word!
Best-selling men’s author Robert Lewis knows what you’re thinking: What’s a man doing writing a book for women? Actually, women encouraged him to write it! Per their request—having seen so many positive changes in the men in their lives — The New Eve is an equally stirring counterpart to Robert’s teaching on authentic biblical manhood, powerfully defining Christian womanhood in the context of the modern world.
He says, “Many women lack a clear, compelling, biblical vision for what it means to be a Christian woman living in the twenty-first century. They are stuck with images mired in 1950s terminology or given license to indiscriminately pursue a modern life that overlooks divine directives, bringing great confusion.”
In essence, The New Eve sets forth and elaborates upon five bold move for today’s discern-ing woman: Live from the Inside Out, Adopt a Biblical Definition of Womanhood, Embrace a Big-Picture Perspective on Life, Live with the End in Mind, Use Wisdom with a Man.
Koininia Gate with Hartlyn Ower “For God is not unjust as to overlook your work and the love that you showed for His sake in serving the saints, as you still do.” ~ Hebrews 6:10
This is an opportunity to fellowship with a group of women who have a heart to serve women’s ministry. |
